FAQ:

Q: What if I already own a copy of Rhino and only need to upgrade to Rhino 7?

A: Any version of Rhino can be upgraded to Rhino 7 for $595.00.  Please make sure you have your existing Rhino license when ordering the upgrade.
 

Q: Do you charge Sales Tax for JewelBeetle?

A: We currently collect tax for any sales to the states of Iowa, or Louisiana. This is subject to change over time.


Q: Do you have any educational pricing for students learning JewelBeetle at a University?

A: Contact accounts@jewelbeetle3d.com with all of your schools information, if the institution is a known educator we will send you a quote for an affordable student license. Student licenses are good for 1 year. Students must be enrolled and in good standing with the university or education facility to qualify for the student license.


Q: Do you offer a Trial license so that I can try JewelBeetle before purchasing?

A: Contact accounts@jewelbeetle3d.com with your name, email, and whether you currently own Rhino 7. We will contact you regarding setting up a two week trial license. Trials expire after a time period. Trial licenses come with Trial license of Bella Render and will show a watermark on all renders produced with the trial.


Q: If I purchase the Beta now, when will the full v1.0 be released?

A: Version 1 will release later this year once we have completed all of our v1 builders. You can see what will be included on our website under the Version 1 page. We will announce on all of the normal channels as we start to get closer.


Q: Will there be any cost to update to version 1.0 if I purchase the Beta now?

A: No. If you take advantage of the Beta discount and purchase now, you will receive all future updates up and until v2.0 is released. We appreciate you investing in our technology and we look forward to your feedback to help us build the strongest jewelry design toolset to date.


Q: How will you support me in my purchase of JewelBeetle? How do I get help?

A: We have multiple avenues of support that are available to our users:
    Forum: We are building a User Forum community that should grow to become a strong resource for helping with design questions and questions with JewelBeetle. Each of us will be active in our User Forum and we will build a large library of solutions over time. http://discourse.JewelBeetleSoftware.com

In contrast to other organizations in our industry, we are a group of 5 people who know jewelry design, who know and developed the software. When you ask for help you are going to get a response from someone who actually built the software, and you will not be talking to anonymous person that doesn't understand Windows, Networking, or Jewelry Design.


Q: How do I download the software, I've lost the email.

A: We have a Customer Portal that is linked off of our main website, but can be reached directly from http://jewelbeetle.azurewebsites.net After logging into the portal you can see your license status and usage and download the latest build of JewelBeetle for your license.
